Thornton in Craven Fete Weekend
Village Fete 2009.
For 2009, we are planning a change to the Village Fete. We are having a Hog Roast and Country 'n' Western event on Saturday 11th July from 3.30pm. As well as the Hog Roast, there will be a BBQ and Bouncy Castle plus a "bucking bronco" to try out your riding skills. In the evening there will be a live Country and Western band, the Crown Top Kings. They play a variety of Music from C&W, Swing, Jazz through to Rock n Roll. This event promises to be a great night out, checked shirts compulsory!! Bring your friends along and enjoy the party.
The Crown Top Kings are an excellent band who played at a private party in the vilage last year. Visit their website here to get a flavour of their music
The ticket costs are £5 for adults and £2.50 for children.
