The Walking Group

This is a new page that is under construction and will be dedicated to the group of villagers that meet for monthly walks

The group meet approximately once a month at 9.30am at the Love Tree, with the walk usually culminating in lunch out. Below are the walks already undertaken

  • 9th June East Marton with lunch at Abbot's Harbour
  • 28th July Grimwith Reservoir with a picnic lunch
  • 25th August Swinsty Reservoir with lunch at Hopper Lane
  • 15th September Linton Falls with lunch at The Fountain Inn
  •

Anyone interested in joining the walking group on a walk can Contact them via the Clerk to the Parish Council

This is a very friendly group of nine regular walkers with others taking part as and when they can. All new walkers will be made to feel welcome. You can just do the walk and miss lunch or you can miss the walk and just come for lunch - you decide
