Walk out of Thornton in Craven along the A56 towards Earby. Keep to the left hand side of the A56

The tarmac footpath stops at the Thornton-in-Craven sign. At this point there is a stile at the side of a timber field gate, take this into the field.

Head straight down the field to the bottom left hand corner.

There is a timber bridge to get you across the beck. Cross this and then walk along following the wire fence.

At the end of the field there is a stile onto the old railway line.

Once on the old railway line turn left and continue along until you come to Boothbridge Lane.

Once on Boothbridge Lane turn left and back up the hill into the village.
