The election on 5th May includes Thornton in Craven Parish Council. Would you like to be a Councillor for the parish? If you are interested, are over 18 years old and live in, (or within 3 miles of Thornton in Craven) you may be eligible to stand. The Parish Council has seven Members, if less than seven people apply to be a Councillor, those who do apply will be co-opted to the Council, if more apply, then an election will be held.
