Christmas Walk 5th December 2014

The walk is short and easy as the main aim of today is the Christmas dinner at The Tempest Arms which is booked for 12:30.This walk is a total distance of 11.9km (7 miles) with the hardest bit been the climb from Thornton to Elslack Woods. The walk should take 3hrs. Once you get a bit of hight then you have great views towards Pendle Hill and the Tough of Bowland in Lancashire and the fells of the lower section of  Yorkshire Dales.
