There is a small area of common land of about 0.7 hectare within the parish at the top of the hill towards the south east of the village. It can be accessed by following the footpath at the end of Booth Bridge Lane up the hill. The common land register number is 175 under West Riding and it’s named Little Moor.
600 native trees and shrubs were planted there at the end of 2020, organised by the Parish Council and sponsored by Herriots Hotel in Skipton.
